Hey there,
Let’s talk about seasons.
Not just the ones outside your window, but the ones happening inside you.
Ever notice how sometimes you’re full of energy, ready to tackle the world…
While other times you’re drawn inward, craving rest or reflection?
I’ve come to realize that these cycles aren’t random…
They’re part of a natural rhythm we all go through, what I like to call our “soul cycles.”
Today, I want to dive into these inner seasons and explore how tuning into them can support your spiritual and personal growth.
When you start to recognize and honor these cycles, life gets a little easier, more peaceful…
Even synchronized.
And, of course, I’ll tie it back to your pineal gland…
That trusty third eye that’s key to sensing and aligning with your soul’s natural rhythm.
Just like the seasons outside: spring, summer, fall, and winter…
Our souls have cycles, too.
These are about our internal rhythms that flow between growth, action, rest, and reflection.
Some cycles push us to step outside our comfort zones, to expand and grow.
Others pull us inward, urging us to rest, recharge, and make sense of where we’ve been and where we’re going.
But the key here?
Learning to recognize which season you’re in and honoring it instead of forcing yourself to be somewhere you’re not.
When you embrace these natural rhythms, you’re no longer fighting against yourself.
You’re aligning with the wisdom of your soul.
Its unique timing and needs.
And when you get in sync with your inner cycles…
That’s when you feel most connected to life, to yourself, and to the universe.
So, how do you know which soul season you’re in?
Here’s a breakdown of the inner seasons and the signs that might indicate where you are:
In this phase, you feel energized and inspired, ready to plant new seeds in your life.
This is the time for starting new projects, learning, and expanding your horizons.
Here, it’s all about doing.
You’re putting in the work, showing up, and giving life to the seeds you planted.
This phase is usually busy, intense, and productive.
After all that action, it’s time to pause, take stock, and reflect on what you’ve accomplished.
This is when you start to let go of what no longer serves you, preparing for the next phase of growth.
This phase calls for deep rest and self-care.
It’s a time for restoring your energy and nurturing yourself on all levels….
Physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Now, here’s where the pineal gland comes into play.
The pineal gland opens our intuition and spiritual connection.
But it’s also our internal clock.
This little powerhouse regulates sleep-wake cycles, seasons…
And even certain rhythms in the body, thanks to its role in producing melatonin.
When your pineal gland is healthy and clear…
It acts as an energetic compass, helping you tune into these soul cycles.
You’re more aware of your energy shifts, more aligned with your inner seasons…
And more in sync with what your body and spirit need at any given time.
It’s like having a spiritual “GPS” that guides you through the ebbs and flows of life with ease.
But if your pineal gland is blocked or calcified, you may find it hard to recognize these natural cycles.
You might push through when your soul needs rest…
Or feel stuck when you’re meant to be expanding.
So, taking care of your pineal gland through practices like meditation, sun exposure, and avoiding fluoride…
Helps you stay tuned in to your soul’s natural rhythm.
Here’s the thing: each soul season has its purpose.
Growth isn’t just about doing more or achieving more.
It’s about knowing when to act and when to pause, when to reflect and when to rest.
Here’s how you can work with each season to make the most of it.
In this phase, lean into the excitement.
Set intentions, start journaling about your goals, or take on something new.
This is the perfect time for reading, learning, and expanding your mind and spirit.
When you’re in the action phase, let yourself be fully engaged.
Put your energy into what matters, stay focused, and don’t be afraid to work hard.
This is the time to show up for yourself and your dreams.
This season is all about clarity and integration.
Take time to look at what’s working in your life and what’s not.
Use practices like journaling or meditation to reflect on what you’ve learned and what you want to let go of.
When winter arrives in your soul, it’s time to restore.
Listen to your body and give yourself permission to slow down.
Self-care, deep rest, and reconnecting with loved ones can be incredibly healing in this phase.
Think of it as “charging your batteries” so that you’re ready when the next growth cycle begins.
So, which season are you in right now?
Are you in a phase of growth, action, reflection, or rest?
Hit reply and let me know!
I’d love to hear where you’re at and what this cycle is bringing up for you.
One last piece of advice?
You don’t have to “keep up” or meet expectations.
Just trust that each season has its own gifts…
And that by embracing them, you’re staying aligned with your highest self.
See you next time,
Eric Thompson
